That Singapore Swing.
Not to sound jaded or anything, but the view from most of the infinity pools you’ve experienced have all been pretty much the same. Turquoise waters, swaying palm trees, the occasional frolicking dolphin, yadda, yadda, yadda. It’s nice and all, but for those of us who yearn for a little extra panache, there’s the Marina Bay Sands: Singapore, with, you guessed it: a rooftop infinity pool with a panoramic view of the Singapore skyline 57 stories in the sky. Part of the Sands SkyPark, the infinity pool is surrounded by a lush oasis, plus a selection of restaurants and bars.
Oh, and the rest of the hotel underneath it is pretty damn spectacular too, with amenities like the Banyan Tree Spa and Fitness Center, an Art and Science Museum with both permanent and rotating exhibitions, a casino, world-class shopping, and a gaggle of restaurants from celebrity chefs, including Daniel Boulud, Wolfgang Puck, Guy Savoy, Mario Batali & Joe Bastianich, and Singaporean Chef of The Year, Justin Quek. If you’re still bored, the Marina Bay also has a few internationally-renowned nightclubs on premises, plus a steady stream of performances, musicals and concerts. But honestly, if you can’t find anything fun to do at this incredibly spectacular spectacle of a hotel, we’re really not sure we can help you with that. For reals.
