McLaren Special Ops P1 & 675LT Spider

Carbon. So Hot Right Now.

Remember the 80’s when your teacher gave out carbon copies of homework assignments? Carbon was pretty boring back then. But in 2016, carbon is the new star player for McLaren Special Operations (MSO) and the two custom cars they recently created—the McLaren Special Ops P1 and 675LT Spider.

The ridiculous rides made waves at the Geneva Motor Show, to highlight their new visual carbon fiber body package and we have to say, we’re impressed. The P1 had a carbon body that was hand-laid and coated in a deep blue lacquer that gives the body a mesmerizing effect, especially when complemented by the all-black, glossy finish of the wheels and the 24-carat gold exhaust heat shield.

The 675LT Spider also got a carbon fiber makeover, plus Ceramic Grey paint, an Alcantara interior trim and and the same golden heat shield as the P1. Definitely not boring.
