Happy Birthday, Ducati. Thanks For The Sick Bike.
The Italian motorcycle masterminds Ducati turned 90 this year, and unlike most 90-year-olds (we’re looking at you, Grandma), they show no sign of slowing down. To celebrate their nine decades of design and performance excellence, they’ve released the Ducati 1299 Panigale S Anniversario ($32,000) a special edition bike unveiled by MotoGP World Champion Casey Stoner at World Ducati Week 2016.
The 1299 Panigale S Anniversario boasts a fierce design that was inspired by their racing team, with a red, white and black paintjob and gold wheels, along with a host of awesome upgrades in the performance department.
The 205bhp bike has a Superquadro motor, plus the latest version of Ducati’s Traction Control system (DTC EVO) that helps riders drift without any of that pesky crashing. Ducati also added advanced electronics like Bosch Cornering ABS, Ducati Electronic Suspension and Ducati Wheelie Control.
Only 500 units will be made worldwide, and every S Anniversario bike will have its number etched on its special top yoke, so you’d better move fast if you want in on this stunning piece of Ducati history.
