It’s The Bike From Tron. Ride It.
If you’re a fan of “Tron” or just awesome, futuristic modes of transportation, you’re gonna want in on this recently funded Kickstarter project—the Cyclotron Bike (manual $2650, E-gear $4000). It’s the world’s first hubless smart bike, pimped out with an optional electronic E-gear box, a space grade carbon fiber frame and it’s fully connected to its Cyclo-App, which can be run on Android or iOS.
With more than 15 patents pending, the Cyclotron is poised to leave all other cycles in its dust, and you can tell just by looking at it—the wheels have no spokes, and not only do they light up Tron-style thanks to halo LED lights that go on automatically in the dark, you can even store stuff in the “Utility Slots” inside each wheel. The tires are made of solid polymer which contain no air and last for over 6,000 miles.
An internal E-gear box can be added and mounted inside the front and/or rear wheels, and lets you shift super fast and fully electronically, like a mouse click. Even Tron’s Light Cycle can’t do that.
