1948 Buick Streamliner

Chuck the Prune Juice

I say Buick, you say Grandpa! Buick! Grandpa! Buick! Grandpa! But wait, what’s this sexy, curvy bullet I see? The gorgeous 1948 Buick Streamliner by Norman E. Timbs doesn’t run on prune juice, but on sex appeal. Created in the 1940′s, this beauty is one of the most jaw-dropping American hot rods alive. Fabricated largely by Norm’s hands over a wooden buck, the custom aluminum body, steel chassis, rear engine, and rear hydraulic door for entry took over two years to finish, resulting in a car so classic it still looks futuristic. When found in near perfect condition in 2002, a touch of restoration and a lot of TLC took this car above and beyond anything on the road today. Fasten your Depends, Grandpapa.
