Rolex Oyster Perpetual Explorer

Roll Up On This.

It’s no secret that everybody loves Rollies. A guy with too much time on his hands actually calculated that out of all of Jay-Z’s songs that mention a watch, 47.1% of them are about Rolexes. For Kanye, that number is 60%. And Iggy Azalea has an entire song called “Rolex.” But if you’re going to drop $22k on a Rollie, don’t you want one that no one else has? Like not even Yeezus? Yeah. You do. Check out this Rolex Oyster Perpetual Explorer ($22,500).

This one-of-a-kind timepiece is originally from circa 1970. After being vetted by watch experts in Geneva, it was painstakingly refurbished by avid watch collector and designer Alejandro Alcocer with a unique PVD coating that he developed himself, giving the timepiece his signature matte black finish. Working out of his headquarters in Montreal, Alcocer also adds a Diamond Like Coating (DLC) for strength. This Rolex Oyster Perpetual Explorer is an officially certified Swiss chronometer, with an oyster-style case, smooth bezel, high-contrast dial and its band is a flat, three-piece Oyster link bracelet. We think Hova would approve.
