Optimus Prime Time
Well, your dreams have finally come true. No, not the one about Janet Jackson–think more animated. You got it. The Transformers you know and love on TV are taking it to the big screen, in their very own movie. It takes place in the future, in the distant year of 2005, where the evil Decepticons have taken control of Cybertron, home planet of Optimus Prime and his Autobots. O.P and his Autobots plot to not only regain control of their home planet, but defend themselves from an evil entity known as Unicron, a roaming planet that devours anything in its path. The movie has a rockin’, synth-based soundtrack, with tons of heavy metal tracks too. So grab your Goobers and settle in for 84 minutes of hard-core ‘bot-bashing, a some new characters, and the ultimate demise of some favorites (we won’t tell you who…). This flick definitely lives up to its promise: “Beyond good. Beyond evil. Beyond your wildest imagination.”
